How Finvestopia analysis is produced

A plain-language description of data inputs, technical scoring, AI briefings and editorial guardrails — so readers can judge independence and limitations before acting on any idea.

Purpose of this page

Finvestopia is an educational market-analytics platform. Instrument pages combine live (or near-live) quotes, TradingView charts, classical technical indicators, composite long/short scores and AI-generated briefings. This methodology page explains how those layers are assembled and what they are not: they are not personalised investment advice, portfolio management, or an order-routing venue.

1. Market data inputs

Quotes and reference prices are ingested through Finvestopia’s Market Data Service and related feed adapters. Coverage spans forex majors and crosses, cryptocurrencies, global indices, energy and softs, precious metals, and selected equities. Update cadence depends on the asset class and upstream venue — liquid FX and crypto tick more frequently than some CFD-style or session-bound instruments.

Data may be delayed, interpolated or proxied (for example weekend gold proxies when spot FX is closed). Always treat on-screen prices as research context and confirm execution prices with a regulated broker if you trade.

2. Technical indicators & composite scores

Classical indicators such as RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands and ATR are computed from recent OHLCV history for the selected symbol and timeframe context. Composite long/short scores blend several of these signals into a single educational gauge. Scores are relative and model-based: they can flip quickly when volatility expands, and they do not encode fundamental valuation, balance-sheet risk or event surprise.

For a walkthrough of UI parameters, see the instrument analysis guide and the radar signals guide.

3. AI market briefings

AI text is generated from structured inputs (symbol metadata, recent price action, indicator snapshots, and where available calendar or news context). Models summarise and phrase scenarios; they do not “know” your risk tolerance, leverage, tax situation or account size. Briefings may lag live ticks by design when generation is batched or cached.

  • Outputs are labelled as educational / research-oriented copy.
  • Monte Carlo-style or scenario blocks illustrate ranges — not guaranteed outcomes.
  • Hallucination risk exists for any generative system; cross-check levels on the chart.

4. Editorial review principles

Product and content decisions are led by founder Onur Erkan Yıldız, whose background and SPK personal-licence claim are documented on the author and About pages. Editorial principles:

  1. Disclose method before conviction — prefer explaining inputs over sensational calls.
  2. Separate education from promotion — broker outbound links follow the affiliate disclosure.
  3. Keep risk language visible — disclaimers on instrument pages, footer and legal documents remain part of the product, not fine print afterthoughts.
  4. Correct material errors — when feed or copy issues are identified, we prioritise feed health (watchdogs / pumps) and content fixes over silent persistence.

5. What Finvestopia is not

Finvestopia is not a broker-dealer, investment firm, portfolio manager or payment institution. We do not hold client funds, open trades on your behalf, or guarantee performance. Regulatory authorisations that apply to licensed intermediaries do not automatically apply to an analytics website. For Turkey-focused regulatory education, see Forex yasal mı? (Turkish).

6. How to use the platform responsibly

Use live pages for situational awareness, library articles for vocabulary, and calendar / news for event context. If you decide to trade, do so only through a licence appropriate for your jurisdiction, size positions for worst-case loss, and treat AI text as a starting hypothesis — not an order ticket.
